AnnMarie
Hamilton is from Phoenix, Arizona originally
where she resided for 20 years. She grew up on a
cattle ranch in Northwestern Arizona where her father taught her
to rope and ride. She competed in rodeos briefly during her
teens. 
She moved to the
Island of Kauai in Feb 2002 and promptly fell in love with the
beauty and tranquility of the island lifestyle. Her career on the
mainland was in Telecommunications where she was a District Sales
Manager for Cable and Wireless: a large telecom company out of
London. She oversaw sales for Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado and
Nevada.
AnnMarie learned
strong negotiating skills and an ability to work with all kinds
of personalities e ffectively during her 6 year tenure
in telecom as well as putting in her share of 60+ work hours per
week.
After moving to
the Island she received her Real Estate license and has worked
for Century 21 for the last 4 years representing mostly Buyers
and Sellers on the North Shore. She finds the pace of her new
career very enjoyable and loves working with people who wish to
purchase a piece of paradise for themselves.
She holds a
Bachelors of Science in Psychology from Arizona State University.
During one of her earlier careers sh e was very active in working
with adolescent girls on parole as a group home facilitator. She
was also active for many years in Phoenix Youth at Risk,
Toastmasters, and Landmark Education, a transformational
curriculum for adults, and its sister group "Crossroads", where
troubled youth can confront their issues in a safe and structured
environment.

She currently
resides in Princeville, Kauai with her two favorite boys, a long
haired Chihuahua named "Bruiser" and a Bichon Frise named "Max".
In her spare time she enjoys
surfing, decorating, Kundalini yoga, studying astrology as well
as books on affirmations and living in the moment. Eckhart Toll is
one of her favorite authors.
AnnMarie has recently started buying
fixer uppers and remodeling them for resale.
She loves to
decorate and transform something that was not so lovely into
something really beautiful that the new owners can enjoy.
She is also
President of her Homeowners Association and sponsors a young
Ethiopian child thru Christian Children's Fund.
